Following the success of last year’s second edition, DACT is proud to continue the DACT Thesis Award, recognizing outstanding academic work in the fields of treasury and corporate finance.

About the Award

The DACT Thesis Award aims to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world of corporate treasurers. It showcases the talent of students from Dutch universities and encourages their interest in real-world financial and treasury-related challenges.

Last year’s submissions covered a wide range of topics — from ESG to Global Diversification to Greenwashing and Firm Value.

The jury, composed of senior finance professionals, was deeply impressed by the overall quality. The winning thesis focused on Integrating ESG Principles into Treasury Operations, earning high praise for its relevance and analytical depth.

Looking Ahead

Encouraged by the positive response, we are continuing and expanding the initiative in 2026. We recommend that students submit their thesis after graduation but before leaving the university.

The submission deadline is July 30th.

You’ll find more details in this flyer, including the following highlights:

  • Why students should participate – including a financial incentive, visibility within the professional treasury community, potential publication opportunities, and career exposure.

  • Eligibility and rules – theses must be completed and graded before submission, and submitted while the student is still enrolled in a Dutch university or Dutch university of applied sciences.

Following the submission deadline, all entries will be reviewed by the jury. Finalists will be notified personally and invited to present their thesis during the DACT Academy on 12 November 2026.
