DACT launches new Public Sector Network
Different sectors, shared treasury challenges
How often do you discover that treasury professionals in a completely different part of the public sector are dealing with exactly the same challenges as you?
Municipalities, provinces, healthcare organisations, housing associations and educational institutions all operate in different environments. Yet many of their treasury challenges are surprisingly similar: changing financing structures, new legislation and regulations, digitalisation, risk management and growing expectations from society.
That is why DACT is launching the Public Sector Network: a new network for treasury professionals working in the public and semi-public sector.
Sharing knowledge and experience
The aim is simple: to bring treasury professionals together to share knowledge, learn from each other and discuss practical challenges.
For the first meeting, DACT is partnering with Zanders Group. On Thursday 22 October, participants will meet in Utrecht for an interactive afternoon. Together, they will work on a practical business case covering recognisable treasury challenges from different parts of the public sector.
But the ambition goes beyond a single event. We want to build a network where treasury professionals can find each other, exchange experiences and continue learning from one another.
Join the first meeting
This first meeting is designed to encourage active participation, open discussion and meaningful exchange between sectors.
Date: Thursday 22 October 2026
Time: 12.00 – 16.30, including networking lunch
Location: Zanders Group, Utrecht
Are you a DACT member working in the public or semi-public sector? We would be delighted to welcome you.
