DACT Public Sector connects treasury professionals working in organisations with a public or societal purpose.

By bringing together professionals from different public sectors, we encourage the exchange of knowledge, practical experience and new ideas. In doing so, we support professional development, innovation and a strong treasury function within organisations that make a difference to society.

Vision

Treasury challenges in the public sector are becoming increasingly complex. Developments in financial markets, legislation and regulation, digitalisation, sustainability and risk management require professionals to keep learning and maintain a broad perspective.

We believe treasury professionals gain valuable insights from peers who carry similar responsibilities in different working environments. Bringing together professionals from healthcare organisations, municipalities, housing associations, educational institutions and other public organisations creates new perspectives and solutions that transcend individual sectors.

DACT provides an independent platform where treasury professionals can meet, inspire and strengthen one another.

During the annual Treasury Target Meeting, professionals from across the public sector share their treasury objectives, challenges and expectations for the year ahead.

The meeting provides space for in-depth discussion, knowledge sharing and the exchange of experiences between different areas of the public sector. There are also plenty of opportunities to reconnect with existing contacts and expand your professional network.

In autumn 2026, DACT will organise its first dedicated event for treasury professionals in the public sector. The programme will focus on current developments, practical experiences and relevant treasury challenges.
