On 12 June, DACT’s annual Summer Conference brought together nearly 200 treasury professionals for an unforgettable event at the iconic Rijksmuseum, in proud collaboration with ING Nederland.

Surrounded by the timeless works of Rembrandt and Vermeer, we explored what lies ahead in finance, leadership, and AI. The day began with a warm welcome from Erik van Ginkel, Managing Director of the Rijksmuseum, and unfolded with a series of powerful keynotes and sessions:

  • Carsten Brzeski offered macroeconomic insights that set the tone for the future.
  • Remy Gieling took us into the world of AI and how it’s shaping tomorrow’s treasury.
  • Margareth de Wit shared profound reflections on leadership.

And engaging sessions from Zhilla Noorbakhsh (ING) & Frank van Praat (KPMG), Michiel Tukker & Tom Van Acker, CFA (ING), and Madelein Meppelink (EY) sparked meaningful dialogue and fresh perspectives.

As rich and layered as the art around us, the conversations inspired a collective sense of direction, purpose, and innovation.

We ended the day with a private gallery tour and walking dinner. A perfect close to a day full of insights and connection in the heart of Amsterdam.
