Call for Entries: DACT Treasury Thesis Award 2025
Following the success of last year’s inaugural edition, DACT is proud to continue the DACT Thesis Award, recognizing outstanding academic work in the fields of treasury and corporate finance.
About the Award
The DACT Thesis Award aims to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world of corporate treasurers. It showcases the talent of students from Dutch universities and encourages their interest in real-world financial and treasury-related challenges.
Last year’s submissions covered a wide range of topics — from ESG to healthcare market liberalization to financial derivatives. The jury, composed of senior finance professionals, was deeply impressed by the overall quality. The winning thesis focused on sovereign-to-corporate credit risk spillovers, earning high praise for its relevance and analytical depth.

Encouraged by the positive response, we are continuing and expanding the initiative in 2025. We recommend that students submit their thesis after graduation but before leaving the university.

You’ll find more details in this flyer, including the following highlights:
-
Why students should participate – including a financial incentive, visibility within the professional treasury community, potential publication opportunities, and career exposure.
-
Eligibility and rules – theses must be completed and graded before submission, and submitted while the student is still enrolled.
