This Treasury Innovation session on Robotics is the third session in a series on Treasury and Exponential Technology. Robotic Process Automation is one of the most promising technologies for streamlining and automating a range of repetitive treasury activities.
You will gain sound understanding of robotic software capabilities and how to apply robotics to specific treasury processes. Gerard Tuinenburg, Director Systems and Processes Treasury at Unilever, will illustrate how Unilever is currently leveraging robotics within specific treasury processes.
• Welcome by Sander van Tol, Partner at Zanders. Sander will shed his light on repetitive and rule-based activities that employees often consider uninteresting, but are part of our every day treasury operations.
• Robots are excellent in alleviating human resources, meaning more time may be dedicated to work that requires value judgments and human interaction. Nuno Ferreira, Senior Manager Corporate Clients at Zanders, will elaborate on the different types of robotic automation out in the market.
• Gerard Tuinenburg, Director Systems and Processes Treasury at Unilever, will share his experiences on implementing RPA within a global company. What challenges were overcome, and how did treasury adapt to collaborating with a digital workforce?
• Once programmed correctly, bots will execute a process flawlessly time after time. Yannic Suurmeijer, Consultant Corporate Clients at Zanders, demonstrates how automated workflows are processed by an actual bot.
